Funding available for organization of Symposia in the area of Neuroscience.
The Karolinska Institutet Neuroscience Network (KINN) announces funding for the organization of two Symposia to be held during 2019.
The meetings should be organized with the aim of promoting interactions between neuroscientists at KI, with a focus on hot topics and/or state-of-the-art technologies, ranging from molecular to systems neuroscience as well as clinical research.
The duration of the meetings should be 1 to 2 days.
The organizers must be employed at KI and come from at least two different departments.
Invited speakers should include outstanding scientists from KI and other universities in Sweden or abroad, considering gender balance.
The KINN will cover costs up to 150 000 SEK per Symposium.
Preference will be given for one meeting taking place before July 2019.
