Kort beskrivning av forskningsprojektet:
In four separate studies, I will examine and analyze how medical students can be effectively trained in the assessment and management of suicidality in children and adolescents, including how digital solutions can be part of this training.

  • Study 1: Development of an assessment method for medical students' clinical reasoning ability applied to youth suicidality, with analysis of its interrater reliability and correlation with existing competency measures.
  • Study 2: Qualitative interview-study of the experiences of resident and consultant child and adolescent psychiatrists in assessing and managing youth suicidality, including their perspectives on essential clinical skills and training needs.
  • Study 3: Mixed-methods feasibility study of digital training for senior medical students in assessing and managing youth suicidality.
  • Study 4: Randomized, controlled, non-inferiority trial comparing the effectiveness of faculty-led face-to-face training with digital training for senior medical students in assessing and managing youth suicidality.
