Beskrivning av forskningsprojektet:
Access to empirically supported treatments is insufficient in mental health care. About half of the evidence-based practices do not spread into clinical usage. Therefore, it is not enough to develop and evaluate efficacious treatments. To facilitate dissemination of evidence-based interventions into regular routine care, we must also understand and describe how to implement the interventions.
Internet-delivered cognitive behavior therapy (ICBT) is an online form of CBT that has the potential to bridge the implementation gap and increase availability due to the ease of dissemination, cost-effectiveness, and highly manualized delivery. ICBT has been evaluated for children and adolescents with obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, but it remains to be sufficiently tried in routine care and for children that are typically excluded from efficacy trials, e.g., patients who also have autism.
The overall aim of the proposed doctoral project is to facilitate implementation of new ICBT interventions for youths with obsessive-compulsive and related disorders. We have designed four studies that include every step from development of a new intervention to implementation in routine care.
